The Thiensville-Mequon Lions Club will be hosting its 6th annual Applefest
in Thiensville Park on Sunday, October 3rd from 11am – 5pm. Applefest is
a celebration of the autumn harvest and Ozaukee County’s apple heritage.
What makes this event so great is the charming small town atmosphere in
a beautiful park on the shores of the Milwaukee River. Applefest will
feature live Polka Music, along with vendors of fresh apples and apple
cider, as well as other fall treats and art & craft vendors. This is a family
friendly event highlighted by hay rides, barrel train, an apple pie baking
contest, coloring contest, polka contest, big wheel racing, and face
painting. Applefest will feature delicious apple brats along with apple pies
and other food and beverages. The Lions Club invites everyone to this
event to experience one of the best fall festivals in the Milwaukee area.
